I work full time for Danish public broadcaster DR - managing the Creative Services-department. Not only does this give me unique insight into the business of voicing - it also means that I have to do a little extra curicular activity from time to time. And recently I filled in for our regular VO on DR HD. Here are a couple of examples from my little stint...
When Apple Computers released iLife 08 for the Mac, they decided to make it a little easier for the Danish consumers to understand the genius of the product. I was hired to walk and talk through the many amazing features of iLife, iPhoto, iDVD, iWeb and Web Gallery. Here's just a little taster.
The National Geographic Channel is one of the foremost innovative factual channels in the world. In striving to make the channels relevant to local audiences, I was asked to narrate a selection of longer program pieces to be used as interstitials. Here's one of them...
This easter, Danish pubcaster DR needed a fresh voice for their easter campaign. And - this is a true story - as I was passing the studio, the producer asked if he could use me. Here's the result ;-)
I sort of fell in to the line of voice over work. I spent my youth volunteering at a local radiostation in my childhood city of Farum, Denmark. Hell bent on making a life for myself in the media industry, I managed to tour a number of smaller commercial radiostations as a host and announcer, before bagging my first real job at a commercial youth TV channel called ZTV. Following a somewhat dodgy screentest, I soon realised I was destined to work BEHIND the camera - and quickly started producing both commercials, trailers and programs for the network. In 1996 I moved to the UK to join Viasat Broadcasting as a producer and announcer - and what was meant to be a summer of fun became a 10 year stint in the UK media industry, working in senior roles at CNN International and The Walt Disney Television Company. I decided to return to my native shores, when I was offered the job as Channel Director at Discovery Networks Nordic, where I remained for 3 years until taking on some consultancy work in 2008. In 2009 I joined the Danish national broadcatser DR as Head of Creative Services - amongst other helping to launch 3 new digital channels.
Throughout my professional career I have kept up my voice work through being the station voice of a variety of international TV networks, as well as copious amounts of corporate and commercial work for agents around the world. Over the last 15 years, I have worked for clients and brands such as: Nokia, Carlsberg, Volkwagen, Shell, Dell, National Geographic Society, Volvo, Heinz, Apple and heaps more. Perhaps I might help you out on your next project?

I have voiced a tonne of commercials in my time - covering brands like Carlsberg, VW, Shell, Dell and Microsoft. Unfortunately - I have been exceptionally sluggish at getting a hold of the sessions afterwards. So what I have to show is a few more obscure works, but they will hopefully still do the trick.
Amongst a whole host of reputable brands and organisations - I have also helped a series of charity organisations, voicing their appeals and corporate presentations. Here you may have a sift through a few of the corporate productions I have been involved with.
APPLE: For the release of the 2008 iLife and iWork packages, Apple decided to go more local in their approach and had me voice a line of product demos.
MSN: Corporate read for their MSN Advertising site. It was used for an animated demo.
HEINZ: A brief history of Heinz' history - the story of the worlds best ketchup. It's the 3rd spice ;-)

I have been involved in the business of TV since 1994. Through my various creative jobs I have also had the pleasure of lending my voice to just about every major channelbrand there is. Discovery Channel, National Geograohic Channel, Fox Kids, Disney Channel, TV3, 3+, CNN International, Cartoon Network.......I've done it all. Here are a few of the exaples I have actually managed to get a hold of ;-)
So - there are a bunch of other things that you can use me for. I could voice your next radio ad, make sure people have a convincing and positive experience when they call you or guide your customers through that new iPhone app you created. Have a listen and feel free to let me know what you think ;-)
Sponsorships take up more and more airtime - and so quite a few come my way. This is a little selection - short but sweet.

Well....maybe it's not so much a studio as it is a great little hide-away cupboard. It does mainly function as my recordingstudio - but also doubles as a fitnessroom and family storage. Thankfully my wife is the very tidy type - so all you'd ever know about is the room's main function ;-)
It is kitted out with an SE Electronics 2200A microphone on a fluid stand, a pair of KRK Rokit 5 active monitors and a pair of half decent Bose earphones. It all ends up going in and out of a DigiDesign M-Box 2 Pro and a 17" MacBook Pro. The room is off course clad with soundproofing fabric and a half decent carpet underlay.
I am fully capable of recording and editing all material for delivery via YouSendit, FTP or email - in all the usual formats. I can also work to video, if this is needed.
For international clients I can also offer Source Connect sessions, and according to a few London clients - "It sounds so great you may as well be in the room next door". Give it a try....!
