Stéphane Claessens est un auteur-compositeur-interprète belge. Dés son jeune âge il s'exerce au piano et découvre dés lors sa passion pour la musique.
Quelques années plus tard, il se tourne vers la guitare électrique et fait ses classes dans plusieurs groupes de rock.
C'est notamment avec le groupe Celo-Tape, une formation qui fût fondée en 1999, avec le quelle il enregistra un mini album( Out of control ) ainsi qu'un single du nom de « Talk », qu’il développe sa créativité musicale ainsi que son don pour la composition.
Sa rencontre avec Sandrine Bindels lui donne l'envie d'intégrer des cordes dans ses nouvelles compositions. C’est ainsi que le projet« Claes’s » vois le jour fin 2008. Le premier album « Claes’s » essentiellement basé autour du piano avec une instrumentation classique sors au printemps 2010. Toujours à la recherche d’originalité et de nouveaux sons, Stéphane Claessens intègre aujourd’hui une touche d’électro à ses nouvelles compositions …

"Claes's" is a project created by Stéphane Claessens, a Belgian singer, musician and songwriter, who played piano since his childhood and has discovered very soon his passion for the music. His musical creativity and his talent for composition, he developed particularly in the band "Celo Tape", a formation which was founded in 1999.
The encounter with Sandrine Bindels gave him the idea to integrate strings in his new compositions. Thus the project “Claes’s arose at the end of 2008. The debut album, essentially composed around the piano and a classical instrumentation, has been published in the spring of 2010. Always looking for originality and new sounds, Stéphane Claessens integrated an electro-touch to his latest compositions.
The music by Claes's is the pairing of rhythmic pop, classical instrumentation and sounds of electro-rock. The result of this encounter is a fusion of tenderness and intensity of nostalgia and modernity.
