My InspirationI'm sure you've heard this before if you're researching photographers. It's after our childern are born or we've photographed that first wedding that we view life and time differently. I had always been a photographer ever since Polaroid (sneaking my mom's camera). Normally I got busted because the film back then was so expensive. Thank goodness they came out with disposables and then floppy disc cameras! Now, I'm a Nikon DSLR owner and it's always close by my side. When my son was born I did my first photo shoot with him after a Santa visit. Those 2 clicks they give you in the mall after waiting in line for an hour didn't cut it for me, I wanted more for my 6 week old baby. So I cleared off the coffee table and drove him crazy with a camera! He is my inspiration. My family is my inspiration. LIFE is my inspiration.My LovesMy Husband, My Son, Famiy & Friends, Our dogs Lucy Lou and Rocky, Live Music, the Great Outdoors, Dragonflies, Butterflies, Anything Pumpkin, Festivals of all kinds, Traveling, Learning, Teaching, Giving, My Birthday Celebration that lasts for a week, Topshelf Margaritas, Dancing in the Kitchen, spontaneous adventures, Planned Road Trips, Kisses on the cheek, Reading to my son before bedtime, Watching my son see the world in wonder, and my CAMERA that allows me to have a creative outlet where I'm able to capture your memories that will last a life time, oh and of course Cherry pie and Mexican food! Why choose meAlthough I don’t hold a Bachelors in Photography, I do hold my own degree in constant learning. I attend workshops & also continue to take college courses to gain my degree. I’'m a self taught photographer who for the most part has tried to best to document every monumental step in my life. I’'m always zoning in on those important details that I don'’t want to forget. I know when researching photographers you’'ve got choices. My choice for you is to find the best fit and I do try to make it easy and accommodating. I'’m an on-location photographer which means I come to you where it’'s most convenient. I know that’'s important when you'’ve got a newborn, little one’s, or you’'re pressed for time. I also aim to create a piece of artwork that you'’ll proudly display for many years to come. I love to make this fun for you and your family whether it'’s a photo shoot, a special event, or the big wedding day!

LOCATION AND TIPSYour home, Botanical Gardens/Grapevine, your favorite park, Las Colinas Canal, Deep Ellum, Fort Worth or Dallas Botanicals. Additional entrance fees or photography fees are to be paid by you and I can provide that information to you when we're chosing a photo shoot location. Layered clothing, bright colors, and uniqueness makes for awesome photographs. Avoid any large logos UNLESS it's your favorite sports team!NEWBORN - for best results sessions to be scheduled within 7 days of being born and done in the comfort of your own home.MATERNITY - sessions to be scheduled at 7-1/2 months along.EAT, drink and be merry! Make sure everyone is happy and full for a successful photo shoot. And feel free to bring along snacks or drinks. Don't forget chapstick - chapped lips are hard to photoshop.THE GAME PLANOnce we've decided on a location we will meet there on your scheduled date. Together we'll walk the area and along our journey we'll find some great backgrounds or scenes and stop to shoot a few pics. This is to be a comfortable and casual experience for you so it's seen in your photographs. Typically you'll need to set aside an hour for your shoot. I welcome NEW location ideas so if you've got a spot you've been eyeing, "Let's do it" as my son would say! Wardrobe changes are wlecome!PRICING and DELIVERYPhoto shoots $125 up to 5 people. $10 per each additional subject...PLUS TAXWEDDINGS are quoted on an individual basis after I review the details of your big day with you! 2 week turnaround from date of photoshoot, a small charge is added for any rush sessions. Each photo is reviewed and edited for it's highest potential.You'll receive a CD that includes 20 to 30 final images and a copyright release form. Printing company of choice is www.mpix.com or www.ritzpix.com MATTE finish vs. Glossy for a more professional look.
