INFORMATION
The carboot sale is held EVERY SUNDAY throughout the year on the main airfield during British Summer Time, and on the top field during the winter and on Bank Holiday Mondays. We are open on EVERY BANK HOLIDAY BOTH SUNDAY and MONDAY.
SELLERS & BUYERS
For normal pitches, there is no need to book, please just turn up. There are 6 portable toilets at the bottom of the site which are 20p per person, children are free. There is one block at the top of the field which is free.If you have any queries or problems, there are marshalls on site who wear yellow hi-visibility vests who will be pleased to assist. Car-parking is free. Occasionally donations are collected at the gate with all proceeds going to local charities.

The Chapel, which has fantastic acoustics, is being completely refurbished and extended to create a centre for the arts and provide a much needed resource for people with a range of physical and learning difficulties, such as autistic spectrum disorders and dyspraxia.

Part of the historic Glyn Valley Tramway - dubbed the 'Little bit of Heaven Railway' is being restored by volunteers from the Glyn Valley Tramway Trust who want to recreate the tramway as it would have been in its heyday.

OUR LOCATION.
Just off the A483 at Chirk, at junction with A5 roundabout take the exit signed Halton towards McDonalds, then at the McDonalds roundabout take the 3rd exit which takes you under the A483 by-pass. The entrance to the Airfield is on your left immediately after the Forestry Commission Workshop. See LOCATION MAP.
