Chef Joanne Kingdom Project is a program to uplift those who just want a fresh start, and a hand up, and have a drive and a passion toward the culinary arts and food service field. Food service is here to stay , right? I mean, after all everyone has to eat..sooner ..or later. The food service industry is one of those service industries that anyone with a true drive and a passion can be successful with just the right touch of compassion.
Prospective students will be;
Homeless shelter residents
Drug/Alchohol Rehab program participants
Troubled youths(high school drop outs)
Single Mothers in transition
We are a 501c3 organization that is just starting out, so, we will need many things like money, and donations and help from gracious hearts.
We will need the following;
A Commercial Kitchen or....
A restaurant or..........
A Mobile Catering truck unit..
Our students will need these accomodations in order to be trained in the food service industry and be a success in their jobs in the food service industry.
Yes, we will need food to make this happen of course. To teach each student food arts, nutrition, supervision, and food safety,purchasing, and sanitation from certified serv-safe instructors .
We will also need uniforms such as; aprons, waitstaff uniforms, chef apparel, etc.
Our prospective students will need books and other classroom supplies, and some cooking utensils.
Chef Joanne Kingdom Project is designed to teach and train students to become culinarians and establish careers in neighboring restaurants, hospitals, catering companies, etc. The ultimate goal is to have a big gala every 3-6 months to show off the accomplishments of each student.
