Conflicts Throughout "The Hunger Games" trilogy
In the first book Katniss has to struggle for survival inside and outside of the arena of the annual Hunger Games. In the second book, "Catching Fire", Katniss has to face the lingering fear of President Snow harming what she holds dear and, again, must fight for survival in the Quarter Quell Hunger Games along with her new found allies. In the final book of the trilogy, "Mockingjay", Katniss transforms into the figurehead of the rebellion and of course has to participate in fighting against the Capitol. She is also worried about her relationship with Peeta and Gale, which has changed drastically since the first book.
