Lisbon Players is an English language theatre with an international membership and a sixty year history of staging plays. In November 2009 they will be putting on a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet, with set and costumes designed by Chase Valentin.
A new collection of figurative paintings will be on show at Estrela Hall, Lisbon, during Hamlet and work is currently in progress for a return to exhibiting in 2010.
Valentin's debut novel will be in print in the Autumn: Memory Lane Massacre traces a boy's journey into adulthood as he emerges from a brutal, isolated world to follow a trail of self-discovery that leads ultimately to the task of punishing those responsible for his discontent.
Striking Coins is a selection of music based on, and featuring, poetry written during the production of Juvenilia. This will shortly be accessible through www.mySpace.com/chasevalentin
