'Stars In Their Eyes' star Craig appeared as 'Maetloaf' and never looked back. This amazing band will take you on a musical journey from 'Bat Outta Hell' through to today's Meatloaf hits. With a whole host of top musicians in tow and two awesome female singers - this show will wow you to the extreme.

We are nice easy going people and we want you to have a great time here at 'The Brickmakers' but please be aware, if you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked for ID.
We do run our own ID scheme, if you are interested in this please contact us, however this does not replace any other forms of photographic Identification.
We are aware of the vast amount of forgeries out there, we have a large collection of them... your ID will be checked by number, UV light and if they are not genuine they will be confiscated and the police will be notified so please do not embarass yourself by trying...

EVERY MONDAY 8.30PM!
Monday nights are specially designed for new talent on 'The Brickies' stage. We present four session slots of 20 minutes filled with four top local bands.
It's a great way for new bands to showcase themselves, play to a decent audience and It also helps us to have a look at whats up and coming on the local music seen.
The Monday night session comes fully equipped - we provide drums, backline, mics, PA, Sound Engineer and the stage. All you need to do is book your slot and turn up with your fans - it's that simple!

Wednesdays are a popular and exciting night down at 'The Brickies'. It can be a real mixed bag, and no two Wednesdays are ever the same. With a whole stage as a blank canvas we often find ourselves on a journey through all genres, bands, soloists, duos and even acapella vocalists.
If you can play guitar, Ukelele, piano or anything else that isn't electric then get yourself along to our Acousitc night. You don't need to bring anything apart from yourselves. We provide everything you need. All you have to do it turn up!
Anybody and everybody are welcome to come and join in. Even if you don't play and just want to sing a song, there is usually someone here who can play for you. Come and have a go !!!!

We know how expensive it can be to get your songs down on CD. But we can help with that! We will now be recording every Wednesday Open Mic Session. The results, with your permission will be used in our online podcasts and will also be available FREE for you to use as you wish (3 x MP3 songs). Obviously you can opt out of being recorded if you wish, we will just press the Stop button for your slot. However, it's a great way to try out new tracks and get a free demo, you'd be crazy to say NO!

The Lee Vasey Big Band!
Sunday Lunch!
'Lee Vasey' is a local legend, a virtuoso on the guitar and over the last 15 years 'Mr V' and his band have become a very well known and much loved institution in Norwich, East Anglia and the South East, probably the best known and most respected band of their kind in the region. The band is comprised of 10 individuals all with professional music backgrounds and a huge wealth of experience that adds to the Quality and feel of the music and the team spirit behind the band that makes it such an enjoyable experience.
The session begins as a five piece playing some classic instrumentals, then after an hour the brass section arrive and it gets much raunchier. Playing original material and covers in the style of the likes of Maynhard Ferguson, George Benson and more. The singers then get in on the action and take us on a journey from Motown to pop,rock and the musicals. Don't miss this awesome band, LIVE ON STAGE every week from 12.30pm. A great afternoon of musical delight and it's all for free!

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
'THE BRICKMAKERS' were nominated and won the regional awards for 'BEST LIVE MUSIC PUB IN EAST ANGLIA' back in July. We were then invited to head to
London Hilton, Park lane for the finals. We donned our ball gowns
put our faces on and headed off to this very prestigious hotel for 'The
Great British Pub Awards' ceremony. We were wined and dined in
style and then the awards announcements began. Comedian and
impersonator 'Rory Bremner' began presenting the awards to the
national winners. When our Category came up, we weren't really
expecting anything. To be honest, we were so very chuffed to have
scooped the regional award, I mean East Anglia is a big area to excel
within,When Rory announced 'And the winner is..... The Brickmakers'
we sat in stunned silence for what seemed like forever. Then all of a
sudden we all started cheering. We went up to the stage and recieved
our award and this little music venue from Norwich was crowned 'Best
Live Music Pub ofthe Year' by industry giants 'The Publican's Morning
Advertiser'. The National award pays tribute to all the bands,
customers and staff that work hard together to make
'The Brickies' a great place to be! Thank you all so much xxxx

From Abba to YMCA everyone has their Karaoke favourite and we wouldn't be worth our award if we didn't give you guys the chance to shine up there on our stage. No matter how talented you are whether you can or can't sing - karaoke has always been about one thing - FUN! It's all about having a good time with some of your favourite songs. We start about 8.30pm and finish at 12 midnight, so plenty of time to get your requests in. With a catalogue of thousands of
songs, and the facilities to buy new ones there are then we can accomodate
even the most obscure music tastes! Come and give us a song!!
THE GREAT BIG MUSIC QUIZ!
So...you think you know your music? Come and test your skill against your friends and family
with our BIG MUSIC QUIZ! The first Sunday of every month sees teams from across the
city arrive with nothing but their brains, ready to take on the quizmaster. Have a beer,
get yourself comfortable with your team and answer 100 questions using music
clips, music videos, photos and up to date technology to bring you one of the
hottest quizes around. You won't find a quiz like this anywhere else in the city!
it is custom designed every month, with up to the minute questions on charts,
past hits, intros, video stills, backward songs and many more to keep
your brains ticking over. Quiz is £1 to enter and the winning team
takes the pot. Losers receive a special award form the Quizmaster!
