With no genre restriction, anything goes from Folk to Metal, 'B2 Venue' exists solely to promote original bands, you won't hear any cover versions played on the B2 stage. ABOUT THE VENUE

THE B2 MISSION

B2 exsists soley to aid the promotion of original artistes in the UK and in the local Anglia region. B2 Venue is dedicated to providing a platform for bands and artistes to express and develop their musical abilities. It boasts no genre restriction and has become the birth place of many new bands and has enabled them to grow in their perfomance . The venue has also played host to many well established bands from the UK and even across the World who have since found themselves playing to bigger audiences and at some amazing events!

Legendary New Wave Of British Heavy Metal band TYGERS OF PAN TANG will be appearing live at the B2 venue in Norwich, Norfolk on Saturday 3rd March 2012. The TYGERS were formed in the north east of England in 1978 and were a huge part of the British metal scene of the time alongside the likes of Iron Maiden, Saxon and Def Leppard.

SPOTLIGHT 2

TYGERS OF PAN TANG

Tygers of Pan Tang are a heavy metal band, formed in 1978 and originating from Whitley Bay, England. They are a notable band of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. Famed for their 'Spellbound' album these guys know how to rock.

The original band broke up in 1982 but in In 2001, Robb Weir decided to reform the band, despite being the only original member. Robb wanted to keep the Tygers name alive, play the music he loves and to play for the fans who he had remained close to. The new line up was Dean Robertson (lead guitar), Brian West (bass) and Craig Ellis (drums) who remain to this day and are by far the longest serving members in the band’s history along with Robb. In 2004 fantastic unknown Italian vocalist Jacopo Meille was approached and joined the band, he also remains to this day!!

Don't miss your chance to see this band in your local venue, with comparisons being made to bands such as 'Whitesnake' and 'Def Leppard' they are not a band to be missed!!
