With this plan designed to have an immediate impact in helping solve the problem of conserving energy in Indiana, a plan must be instituted right away. The 2.5 MW Series Wind Turbine’s selected to be used, allow for maximum efficiency on even low wind sites to house a windmill. Action Programs
The action plan to install these 50 new turbines located north of Indianapolis will start to be constructed within the first 4 months of the plan. This will allow for testing to be done, to see what farms work best to have the windmills on their land. Once the farms have been selected to use, the land will be rented from the farmers of the land. GE, the makers of the windmills will be the ones to install them as well. GE offers repair and maintenance that is available year round.
