The Waste Group is the owner and operator of two GLB- Landfill Facilities in the Gauteng area, handling in excess of 22 000 tons per month, with a remaining life span of 25 years. The Waste Group also responsibly manages over nine 3rd party Landfill Sites, on a national basis.
We continually strive to partner with regulatory organizations to expand and extend disposal capacity at landfill facilities, by implementing the 5 R’s principle in the waste hierarchy
(Re-think, Reduce, Re-use, Recycle and lastly Remove for disposal at landfill) in order to maximise landfill airspace.
As a dedicated environmental steward, The Waste Group ensures that all of our facilities are managed to meet and/or exceed all Government and Local regulations.
