History
It all started in 2005 when I was a young teen adolescent when I heard about a Zelda fan game making program called Zelda Classic. Since I was a kid, I've always wanted to have the opportunity to make my own Zelda game. During my childhood I would always be theorizing and coming with ideas for possible sequels for already released games and even stand alone games. When I first heard of the program Zelda Classic, this was what I said to myself "Cool!". When I tried it out, I was amazed. I've been making test run Zelda fan games with ZC for years since then. So I have some good experience with program now. During those years of experience, I at one time used to attempt to work on making a three quest Zelda fan-game called Zelda: Ancient Master Sword. It was supposed to be a Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass sequel. The three quests that were supposed piece together to form into the one whole game had their own titles as well. The threes quests part of AMS were called Vaati's Revenge, Vaati's Havoc of Darkness, and Chaos of Ganon. I always wanted to make a fan sequel to WW and PH so that's why I attempted make AMS, but unfortunately, the fan game didn't succeed. However in 2009 when Spirit Tracks came around, I saw hope for myself to be able to make a new and more better fan game with ZC. That's when the Magic Keys fan concept stepped in to play. So here I am working on Magic Keys with ZC 2.5. I use a 2.5 build for ZC cause Magic Keys is supposed to be advanced from any original classic Zelda. I have been working on Magic Keys for almost two years now.
Storyline
BasicsMagic Keys takes place 47 years after Twilight Princess. The Link in this fan game is a fresh new Link who happens to be the son of Colin from TP. This new Link is a 13 year old in this fan game. He has a close friend named Likai who is one year older than him and is the son of Talo who is also from TP. Link's and Likai's hometown is of course Ordon where their fathers lived. Likai was tought sword fighting a fews before Link did therefore Link looks up to Likai as kinda like an older brother.Link's AdventureAh yes, the fun part of what makes a Zelda game a Zelda game. Of course, something happens that draws our hero, Link on an amazing epic adventure like running/riding across the fields of hyrule, sailing the great sea, riding on a steamboat/train, or even riding the winds of the sky on a giant bird. Well in this Zelda fan game, Link will be traveling around in good old classic style but at a new level. Anyways, on with the story. It all starts where Link gets a wooden shield from his father, Colin (I wonder if the shield he gave him was the one he had at the end of TP) for his birthday. Apparently, afterwards, Colin, Link, Talo, and Likai were invited to Hyrule Castle by the Link and Zelda from TP to continue celebrating the younger new Link's birthday. All seemed safe and happy with Link's birthday being celebrated until an anonymous evil figure simply described as a "phantom reaper" came out of nowhere and seemed to be going after TP Zelda and her daughter Zelda (The new Zelda in this fan game that needs to be rescued) for a certain reason knocking the new Link, Colin, Talo, Likai, and even TP Link aside. TP Link mentions that the "Phantom Reaper" is after the fragments of the secret fourth Triforce known as the "Triforce of Heart" and tells Colin, the new Link, Talo, Likai to go to "East Hyrule" and collect the six seperated fragments of the Triforce of Heart and to make sure that the Phantom Reaper doesn't lay his hands on them. Right now you must be wondering "Triforce pieces? What? Then why is it Magic Keys?". You will find that out when you play through the fan game when it's released and put up to download. Anyways, Colin, Link, Talo, and Likai left "West Hyrule" headed for East Hyrule where they come across a town called "Kaepora Town" where they decide stay for awhile and where the fan game starts off at. Colin and Talo go off search for the Triforce of Heart fragments and seem to not return. This is what causes Link to embark on his big epic quest. Along the way through this quest of his, he will be taught new skills by Likai along with a few familiar skills. Will Link find his and Likai's fathers? Will he save Zelda? More importantly, will he save Hyrule? Or will he die trying? Only you will answer those questions in 2012 as you guide Link through the this epic quest.
