CrewShow is the exciting new avenue that connects you directly with the yacht crew market.
Do not underestimate the buying power of the crew, they directly control the often very large budgets required to run these vessels and with so little free time they can often build up a substantial worth in their own right.
CrewShow will allow you to reach a potential audience of 1,000s. Our website has seen thousands of hits and our one day shows reach upwards of several hundred yacht crew, and this number continues to grow as our reputation and our locations expand.
No other medium can promote your company so effectively to the vibrant, active people who make up todays professional yacht crew.
The financially large, but very exclusive market is not easy to access, however Celia and Phillip have many years combined experience in their different capacities within this industry and their knowledge is the key to your success.
As CrewShow expands globally let us take your product worldwide with us.

CrewShow founder- Celia Wagstaff
Business Development- Phil Edwards
CrewShow-Ft Lauderdale- Beverly Grant
I left the UK intending to spend a year or two backpacking but when that time came to an end I found myself in New Zealand and just starting to learn the fun of being around boats. In the Bay of Islands I was introduced to game fishing, although I never became much of a fisherwoman I found I had a great love of boats and finally left New Zealand on a sailing boat bound for Fiji, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands. Cut forward a few years and I discovered the professional yacht industry, which in the beginning I joined simply to make enough money for my next backpacking or sailing trip. However it wasnt too long before I started taking my yachting career seriously became a full time charter chief stewardess and have achieved over 10yrs in the industry.
The Crewshow is delighted to announce the addition of new team member, Phil Edwards who has joined Celia as consultant business development director. Phil, already well known to many in the industry, brings a wealth of experience from his twenty-five years in yachting. He went originally to Mallorca for one season as a deckhand but realised he had found a career. He stayed and moved up through the ranks ending his career aboard as Captain. He then went on to found the ubiquitous YachtHelp Group, renowned throughout the whole yachting community for the level of support and service it provided to its clients. In 2007 Phil sold yacht help to an AIM registered company and is now directing his many talents as Managing Director of the worlds leading crew agent, dovaston.
This wide range of experience, encompassing not only all aspects of the yachting sector but also keen business acumen ensures that Phil is well placed to develop the Crewshow brand. He is in the unique position of knowing what content is important to the crew delegates yet with the commercial credibility to attract prime exhibitors. Phil and Celia both recognise the importance of hosting a show that is entirely relevant to crew and Phil is delighted to be able to lend his expertise to ensure that the Crewshow brand delivers the perfect package for crew.
The newest member of the team, joining us to set up CrewShow- Ft Lauderdale is Beverly Grant. Beverly has been involved in the yachting industry for many years during which time she worked on board as a charter chef, before starting the well known company 'Culinary Fusion' which offered - chef training, crew placement and a catering service. After selling Culinary Fusion her next venture was to work in crew placement for the Grateful Palette and now after a well deserved break she is back and when not busy setting up the latest CrewShow venue she has a new position with IMA Yachts establishing their new crew placement department.

The Sacks Group report that Caribbean CrewShow was a success
The Sacks Group has reported that the first-ever CrewShow (the trade exhibition focused exclusively on professional yacht crew) to take place in the Caribbean was a great success. CrewShow-St. Maarten, owned and organized by veteran crew member Celia Wagstaff and sponsored by TSGYP, was held on January 9, 2010, at Yacht Club at Isle de Sol, an Island Global Yachting (IGY) marina.
The show provided superyacht vendors and other local businesses with a unique opportunity to meet the crew of luxury yachts operating in the area for the winter cruising season, as well as providing a fun day ashore for the crew themselves following the busy holiday charter season.
"There was a great variety of vendors, live music and good food; crew were happily shopping, networking and even dancing at the show," said Ann E. McHorney, Charter Agency/Yacht Sales Broker for TGSYP in St. Maarten. "We all are looking forward to CrewShow coming back here again next year."
TSGYP also announced that it will sponsor the very first CrewShow to take place in the U.S, this autumn. CrewShow-Ft. Lauderdale is scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2010, right after the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. It will be held at the convenient Swimming Hall of Fame facility on the IntraCoastal Waterway.
"I am delighted to announce that my Fort Lauderdale-based colleague for this event will be Miss Beverly Grant, the well known ex-yacht and event chef, and crew placement specialist," proclaimed Celia Wagstaff.
CrewShow also holds well-attended annual events in Antibes, France, and Mallorca, Spain.

Crew Show St Maarten Coming up in January 2010
CrewShow is delighted to announce its first Caribbean event, CrewShow- St Maarten which will take place on Saturday 9th January 2010 at the IGY Marina Isle de Sol. The show will be personally hosted by CrewShow founder Celia Wagstaff, together with Brian Deher marina manager for Island Global Yachting. Another great asset to CrewShow St Maarten is Ann E. McHorney, who heads The Sacks Group Caribbean division, and runs Select Yachts NV. Realising what CrewShow can offer the island she has signed up both companies as major sponsors and in addition, has offered the use of her staff and office in Plaza del Lago, Simpson Bay, for the headquarters of CrewShow St Maarten. Celia is really excited at the prospect of bringing CrewShow to the Caribbean, especially with Brian and Ann E. on the team providing local knowledge and expertise. She is convinced that her concept of providing a show especially designed around the crew will be as welcomed there as it was in Europe. The crew are the working heart of any yacht explained Celia they are often responsible for expenses totalling thousands with little recognition or help. I realised there was a gap in the marine trade shows, an event aimed exclusively to crew providing them with all the support and information they could possibly need. One of Crewshows distinguishing features is to be as interactive as possible, a really fun day out aimed specifically to strengthen the bonds between companies and crew
If the events in Europe are anything to go by the crew in St Maarten are in for a treat. The shows in Antibes and Mallorca proved hugely popular with a wide range of exhibitors taking part showcasing products as diverse as specialist foodstuffs and crew insurance alongside advice from crew agents and financial advisors. There will be something for everyone promised Celia as well as a guaranteed day of fun
The show runs from morning to evening in one of the best venues on the island, make sure you make a date in your diary now to be certain that you are part of what promises to be one of the islands most talked about events in 2010.

December 2009
The CrewShow company has been running for a little over 2 years and has doubled in size every year, in order to sustain this growth we are looking for individuals or companies who would be interested in setting up a CrewShow in their area.
The April 2009 'CrewShow- Mallorca' was begun by the CrewShow company, however this years license has been bought by Dovaton Crew, the worlds largest independant crew agency. For Dovaston Crew taking responsibility for setting up a CrewShow following the established and successful formula provides almost limitless promotional oportunites with out the stress of starting something brand new, and most importantly with the possibility for all that publicity not costing them anything as the shows have great potential to make a profit for the franchise holders.
There are so many places worldwide where a CrewShow would be a benefit to the local ecconomy by promoting locally sourced products, events and opening up the yacht crew market to businesses who may not know how to approach this very specialised area.
The licensing fee will vary depending on the potential for growth of each new area, so please dont hesitate to contact us if you are motivated by these posbilities.
