The purpose of this garden club is to stimulate interest in and broaden the knowledge of gardening and conservation, education and to promote home and civic beautification.

C. The Hostess of the month should be called if
you are unable to attend a meeting.
D. Members are required to participate in the Club's
major fund raisers/activities.
E. Guests who attend two (2) meetings will receive an
invitation to join the Club after being informed of
the by-laws. Each new member shall be assigned
a mentor by the Membership Chair.
ARTICLE IV - OFFICERS
A. The elected officers of the Club are President, Vice-
President, Secretary and Treasurer. Their term of
office will begin at the January meeting.
B. The President will appoint Historian, Sunshine and
Publicity Chairman.
C. The Slate of Officers shall be presented and voted
upon at the November Annual Meeting.
D. Nominations for officers are to be made by the
current officers one month before the annual
meeting.
E. Officers shall be elected for one year. No officer may
serve for more than two consectutive years.
ARTICLE I - NAME
The name of this club shall be
THE CEDARBURG GARDEN CLUB
ARTICLE II - MEETINGS
A. A meeting consists of the program and the
business of the club.
B. The Club shall meet regularly on the third
Tuesday of each month.
C. The annual meeting shall take place on the
third Tuesday in November.
D. A majority attendance will constitute a quorum
for voting.
ARTICLE III - MEMBERSHIP
A. Dues shall be $5.00 and will be collected by the
Membership Chairman at the January meeting.
B. Members missing 5 or more meetings in a 12
month period and or not participating in the
fund-raising/club activities will be contacted by '
membership committee to determine if the
member wishes to remain a member or be
placed on the inactive member list.
ARTICLE V - PROGRAMS/ACTIVITES
A. The Vice-President and her Program Committee
will set speaker fees and contact the Treasurer as to
the amount.
B. Harvest Festival - Since this is the major fund-raiser of
the club, every member is expected to work.
C. Plant Sale - Members are expected to donate plants
and help with the plant sale.
VI - AMENDMENTS
The By-laws may be amended at the November Annual Meeting.
