I was raised in a home where creative pursuits were encouraged, and I reveled in photography, carpentry, sewing, silk-screening, pottery, and weaving. With an appreciation of arts and crafts firmly established, the decision to attend an art school was an easy one. At the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, I studied Fashion, Wood, and Metal. My paintings are the result of constant experimenting with techniques and colours. Bright, vivid colours appeal to me, and I would consider that to be the unifying theme in my art.
