Career Services
Career Services at CDM Institute is not merely a service we provide to our graduating vocational students, it is a way of life! The center piece of our Career Services program is a unique, 8-Step process that we developed over many years. The process is incorporated into the students training early in their program, so by the time of graduation they have already developed the skills and confidence needed to be a competitive contender in the job market. Using the techniques we teach, some students actually find employment before they graduate!
At CDM Institute we assist you in your job search in ways quite different from any other school, with emphasis on starting the process early in your program training. First, we will show you how to construct an effective resume and cover letter that will get you noticed. Secondly, you'll learn how to prepare for an interview that makes a positive impression on a prospective employer. You'll then earn effective follow-up techniques to make sure youre not forgotten when the interview is over. Lastly, in conjunction with the Career Services Director at your campus, we'll work with you to identify job openings through our network of job recruiting efforts.
Our graduates have found the strength of our 8-Step program, coupled with their determination and our guidance, to be indispensible in their quest to obtain meaningful employment. We look forward to helping you reach your career objectives.
