Eleanor Roosevelt once said that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. I am my own worst critic but also my loudest cheerleader. I am not a person who cant have a plan, but I dont live my life by a planner.
As a recent graduate from Georgia College & State University, I find myself beginning a new chapter. I hope in turning the page that I will be able to work in the field of Advertising. I also hope to continue to learn and grow daily, becuase while this is a new chapter, this story is far from over.
Upon entering college, I had a goal to be involved in things in my field of study. However, my field of study changed a little over the years. I filmed short clips for Bobbat Media Production, hosted a lone Radio show, and even wrote for the paper.
In the Fall of my junior year, I found advertising. Being an ad rep for the paper was one of the most challenging experiences of my life. However, I emerged a year later as the Ad Manager for The Colonnade, the award winning newspaper for Georgia College and State University. The rest is history. I have loved every single second of my time at the paper, but am excited to leave the post to my successor who I know will do me proud.
