Rocky Ridge Construction, Inc. was established in 1998 by founders Jeff, Jared, Deborah, and Allison Sherburne. Since that time this family owned and operated general contracting company has specialized in refined land development, community amenity and accessory construction, new home construction, along with complete redesigns and renovations. Rocky Ridge Construction has successfully developed five new home communities from their inception to completion. We have also designed and built spec homes, custom homes, and remodeled multiple homes and buildings over the years.

Rocky Ridge Homes was established in 1998 by founder Jared Sherburne. After years in the building industry, I ventured out on my own to create quality custom homes that incorporate style, craftsmanship and a building process that is unparalleled in the Treasure Valley. I am happy to say that this has been accomplished, recognized, and appreciated by many satisfied clients. The concept was simple; "“Treat each home as if it were my own"”.

Rocky Ridge successfully adheres to established budgets and all building schedules and views the interaction and involvement of the customer as a fundamental part of the building process. Naturally the highest quality of materials and workmanship go into each and every project while maintaining value and cost efficiencies. This concept worked then and it works now. Even though my team has changed, I continue to build each home with the same quality, attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction that I did on my first home.

Rocky Ridge has changed along with the changing market and clients’ needs while not compromising my excellent reputation, unsurpassed name in quality, attention to detail, and ability to focus on my customer’s complete satisfaction. I am excited about getting back to being a full service building company owned and operated exclusively by Jared Sherburne.

The Shores"It took the vision, dream, forethought, and ability ofRocky Ridge Construction to create the Shores.”"The 101 acres of raw land that became the Shores was a culmination of six individual properties that were acquired by Rocky Ridge Construction in 2003. Rocky Ridge had the vision and talent to design the entire project, received all entitlements, and complete all of the communities’ improvements and amenities for Phase I as well as partially developing Phase II. The Shores is a regally executed river project, nestled in behind the accredited and coveted Two Rivers subdivision. It features three quarters of a mile of river frontage on the South Channel of the Boise River. The entire community consists of only 86 waterfront home sites with lot sizes ranging from approx ½ to 4 acres. The unique streets have islands of trees and natural landscaping in their medians. Historic sandstone was used on all of the appointed stone accents including the period correct street lamps, decorative bridges, entry pergolas bases and pillars, and the cascading wishing well.Also included is a non-staffed day spa, fitness room, conference room, viewing loft, parlor with "old world" fireplace, equipped kitchen, dining room, and fashionable bathrooms. The community Grecian shaped swimming pool is state-of-the-art, with infinity edge and with an automated geyser fountain. Additionally, the clubhouse area includes two pergolas for shaded gatherings, as well as tennis court. Manicured lawns, a winding stream, and a waterfall accent the event grounds with a basketball court to the west set in lush landscape.During the 2006-08 period the Rocky Ridge was successful in selling 23 of the 56 Phase I lots as well as overseeing the design and construction of 15 homes. However, with both the rapid national decline in the real estate market and the subsequent lock up of financial markets impacting the project, by the Fall of 2008 Rocky Ridge and its’ partners were no longer able to service the debt and, in December, the property was deeded back to the bank in lieu of foreclosure. Although the market forced us to turn over this crown jewel, Rocky Ridge will always be able to say this was our dream and creation. We want nothing more than to see this community remain a success for the new owners so our dream can continue to become a reality. We take great pride in our accomplishments and are hopeful we can continue to help finish the vision we called the Shores.
