Come and join the circle . . .
We are a diverse group of families with a connection in Christ. With our children and with each other, we seek the experience of God in our daily lives, sharing our time and energy to create a safe, warm space for anyone who wishes to participate.
At Christ Church Cathedral, we know that God's promise is Love. Each and every child is a special part of that promise.

Growing Together on Sunday mornings:
We've moved into the season after Pentecost - a time of learning and growth in community as we celebrate the meaning of Christ's presence in the world. Children gather upstairs in the Chapel of the New Jerusalem (CNJ) for an opening ritual, then move to classes based on their grade.
Contemporary Holy Eucharist, Sundays _ 9:15am
Come check out our awesome kid's program, Growing Together! Ask about how to get involved in Family Life programs or how to join our new CCC Children's Choir. Hang out with your little ones in the soft space at the rear of the Nave, and visit with other parents at coffee hour, following the service!
Youth Groups:
Kidspace is still GOING STRONG this fall!! Come and join the fun. For kids Grade 4-8, and their friends. Please contact Ruth Macintosh at 250.383.2714 for details about when and where.
Our 9:15am Sunday Service is the place to be for kids! The Dean begins with a Children's Focus, often involviing visitting puppets and their friends!
Then the children head upstairs to the beautiful Chapter of the New Jerusalem (CNJ) for a gathering time and sing-along with our Musical Director Michael Gormley. The gathering time often involves a special ritual focusing on the liturgical season of the year.
After gathering time, the children are separated into four groups including: infant/toddler, 4- and 5-year-olds, 6 to 8-year-olds, and 9 to11-year-olds.
We use the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum to give the children an opportunity to reflect on and respond to the Sunday reading in an age-appropriate way. They may play games, sing songs, and do crafts.
After Growing Together, the children join their families in time for the Holy Eucharist.
Confirmation with a twist! For kids aged 11-14.
What it IS - This is a diocesan approach to coming of age in our church. Through short cartoons and fun and thought provoking activities it draws youth to encounter, engage, and respond!
