The Autobiography of Christine E. Ossowski
I was born in Decatur and attended South Shores, Centennial Lab School (the original site of the present Johns Hill program), Johns Hill Junior High, and finally Eisenhower High School (Yeah, Panthers!) I went to college at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. My undergraduate degree is in the area of Secondary Education, English. My minor is Spanish. I later returned to school to obtain my master's in guidance counseling from Eastern Illinois University.
I have taught at Mound Middle School (RIP), Stephen Decatur High School, Roosevelt Middle School, Mound again, and now Eienhower. Presently I am the College and Career Counselor for Eisenhower.
I live on the north side of Decatur with my husband Troy, son Zach, and pug Buster. This is my sixth year at E.H.S., and I love it here!
