Vogue's breeding was a joint effort on the part of:
Debby Melle, owner of Vogue's dam - Yentel v Bullinger and Castlebrook Shepherds

Lida Fleury owner of Vogue's sire, a Triumphs Gucci son - Kaluv vom Whirling Thunder
and Whirling Thunder German Shepherd Dogs
This promising young female is owned and trained by Debby Melle of Castlebrook Shepherds. She is a beautiful, vibrant, energetic girl who rarely takes time out to rest while out to play. Her energy seems endless and she runs literal circles around even my workline dogs and is always up for more of whatever we are doing. Vogue has incredable "focus" which makes training much easier than most. In her first year and a half of life, Vogue has placed in the top 3 of every show she has been entered in, with the exception of her very first baby puppy show where she was placed 4th. Of those 8 shows Vogue earned 2 Siegerin titles! The first Siegerin title was in the 9 - 12 month class in 2009 at the Chicago Schutzhund Verein's fall show. The second Siegerin title was earned at the South Eastern Regional Show in March of 2010, in the 12-18 month class. The Summer and Fall of 2010 Vogue went on to add 3 more Siegerin titles, bringing her to 5X SG1! Vogue was also entered in the 2010 BSZS in the 18-24 month class. She showed herself well and during the individual exam, SV Judge Norbert Scharschmidt, stated that she would have been in the first ring out of 200+ dogs! Herr Scharschmidt even wrote this to us in an email, expressing what a nice girl she is and confirming she would have been 1st ring. But due to an error in what we were told, Vogue did not have her hips and elbows done and because of this had to be placed in the back because she did not comply with the rules. Even so she was moved up 6 places in her final judgement. Words can not express the devastation in letting Vogue down. Vogue has her SchH 2 and will have the 3 by the NASS 2011 where she will compete in the working class. Even though this is a MUCH harder class to compete in, we know that she will hold her own and do us proud! Her protection work, drives, grips and especially her intense focus - are all exceptional and something her Grandsire
