"...Has all the hallmarks of successful fiction, it draws and keeps the reader's attention, and is thought provoking during and after reading."
-Tony Murrell, Wordsru
"One of the most thought provoking books I have read. Being a fan of Physics and the Universe, this book asks the question, Is the visible world around us all there is? I am reminded of a quote by Phillip Yancy in his book RUMOR OF ANOTHER WORLD, "Nature and Super Nature are not two separate worlds, but different expression of the same reality. Is this existing world only a veil away from infinity? It is a MUST read if you crave intense thought provoking books. A very interesting look into prophetic events to come, as well as the ultimate battle between GOOD and EVIL."

"C.S. Harmon's greatest literary strength comes from his ability to weave narrative with an almost poetic and approachable tone. His stories are are both symbolic and concrete, in that, the images they evoke have such life and emotion attached to them, that it's easy to be drawn into his story. His literary timing is impeccable and I thought the pace of the novel was fantastic; never did I want to put his book down! He truly has a deep knowledge of his subject matter and it shows that he wrote this story with method and dedication. It is a well crafted novel and a welcome addition to my library. Even if you aren't a fan of Biblical literature, the craftsmanship of this story can speak across faith gaps to the heart of man it's self. I think C.S. Harmon will be the voice of his generation."
-Ian A. Mooney, Amazon.com
"This is a literary tale reminiscent of H.G. Wells, C.S. Lewis or Isaac Asimov at times. As such, plenty of attention is given to surroundings, character motivation and thought."
-Brian Reaves, author, Stolen Lives
"It is full of irony, wisdom and humor, wonderfully written. I really enjoyed it, at times laughed out loud at its subtle humor. Good story and positive morals."
-Jon Huer, author and Professor of Sociology
"What an amazing piece of literature. The author uses original concepts relating to the Biblical end times that leaves the reader thinking about his own salvation. I have been totally immersed into this creative fiction and was unable to put the book down, it really was a page turner. The author seems to have been truly inspired and writes with a creativity that captivates the imagination. I would recommend this book to anyone."
-SGT Roger D. Gomez, U.S. Army
"This read is truly worthwhile. I am a fan of Christian fiction. Ted Dekker, Frank Peretti- there's an emerging genius here. The story is written in the style of another age, and, like poetry, causes the brain to pay attention with increased awareness. The writing style serves truly well. The message I get encourages thinking and hope. Harmon should continue writing, I like that he is clear about an ultimate end. There aren't contradictions which is gratifying when following a puzzle. In the words of the late Ayn Rand: 'there are no contradictions, examine your premises."
-Lisbet Hester, Authorsden.com
"Let me start by saying that if you haven't read this book, you really should! It was a beautiful story about the end of times and the final battle of good and evil. One of the biggest surprises of this book was the language that was used. First, it is hard to find a book written in our time that uses such beautiful language. Second, if you have ever talked to C.S. Harmon, you know he is a southern boy with a thick accent, so it was hard to believe that this language came from him!"
-Heather Davis, Authorsden.com
"Harmon should be dubbed The Christian John Grisham. His writings read so well, it's like watching a movie. You feel like you are a part of the story. This book comes highly recommended."

Join the Mission!
It is my mission to sell at least 5,000 books before I deploy in October, 2009. I will be donating $.25-$3.00 from every book sold between now and October to support organizations like Holt International, Army FRG functions (provides support to military spouses and children), and similar organizations to help the needy and to support the armed forces. Hopefully, by the time October rolls around, I'll be able to donate at least $2,500 to these great organizations. But I won't be able to without your support! Please help spread the word. Word of mouth is the best promotional tool for books like this. Post a banner on your website. Start an e-mail chain. Tell your friends and family at church and work. Recommend me for radio and newspaper interviews. If you own or are a part of an organization and would like to join the mission, please contact me. Any and all ideas are considered. I pray that The thousand Year Voyage touches you like it has touched so many already.
Blessings,
C.S.H.

Me and my wife, Lydia. We are posing for the camera after the first snow fall of the season.
Casey Sean Harmon is a Chaplain Assistant in the U.S. Army, an author and a husband. He was born in Alabama in 1988. His parents are both non-denominational pastors. Before the military, Harmon worked at a number of places, including Sears, Banjamin Moore Paints, the Pell City Auction Co., and he worked off and on with his parents, who own T&H Construction, Cabinets and Crafts. He began writing To the Ends of the Earthwhen he was seventeen years old, and the novel was published with great acclaim by Outskirts Press in September of 2006, when Harmon was eighteen. "C.S. Harmon" stopped working for a while to travel around and promote his book. However, upon discovering that "the spotlight" was not the type of life that he wanted to live, Harmon quit his marketing campaign and joined the U.S. Army as a Chaplain Assistant in June of 2007. His first duty assignment as a soldier was Fort Bliss in El Paso, TX. He was immediately deployed to Suwon, South Korea shortly after. He served five months there, then was stationed at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC, where he is currently stationed. On October 18, 2008, Harmon married his sweetheart, Lydia Lightfoot. Casey and Lydia met on Myspace.com while Casey was in South Korea. Upon his arrival back to the states, Harmon rode a Grey Hound bus to Florida to meet Lydia. It was love at first sight.
MORE
In January of 2009, Harmon started writing again. "I have enjoyed my time away from writing to live a little," Harmon said, "But writing is my one true passion, and I must pursue it." He thought that the best place to start would be to publish a revised version of his first novel, and "start over afresh, doing things right." All while performing his soldier duties, he, with the help of his wife, completely reedited and revised To the Ends of the Earth. Among the things changed are the title, which is now The Thousand Year Voyage, and the author's pen name, which is his actual name. The book has been published by Innovo Press, and is available online or through bookstores everywhere. To the Ends of the Earth is no longer available. Harmon's writings also include many short stories, articles and poems.
