About The Carnival
St. Margaret's Carnival has long been a festive event which many people in the area eagerly await. We offer something for all ages and a splendid time is sure to be had by all. All this fun however, does not come easily, as it takes the time and effort of a good number of people to bring this event to life.
The Carnival commitee is made up of a dedicated group of twenty-four individuals who start meeting in early February to plan the week's festivities. Obtaining the permits, ordering the supplies and scheduling the entertainment are only a few of the advanced preparations we need to make.
As hard as this group works, none of it would be possible without the volunteer workers. Workers are needed to staff the games, concessions, food stands and ticket booths to name but a few. Any help we receive is greatly appreciated as it makes for less work for each person.
