I am an old woman now I cant remember it .Huh? What is it? I am talking about my exiting life , which was so important as to be made into the novel. Well I think it will be alright if I tell you. I was the educated daughter of a village headman fallen on hard times. I had wanted a big wedding, like my sisters .But times were hard on us and I had to be married to a landless farmer, Nathan .He was poor but kind and understanding and caring .I didnt know anything about farming before but Nathan took me kindly and taught me. Soon after our wedding we were blessed with a beautiful daughter and we called her Ira.But after luck turned on me and I did not bear for almost six years. So I met Kenny for my treatment. Finally I had a son, he was no beauty, but my husband was overjoyed. After him I had five sons. We had little less to eat with every mouth. Before long Ira was married to a farmer far away. It was a grand wedding and I spent all I had saved for her. But it all turned out to be a facio as her husband returned her to us because she was barren. She was going through the same time as me.
