Caring Services, Inc. is a program of hope to individuals and families whose lives have become unmanageable because of chemical dependency. Caring Services provides an enlightened and caring treatment community in which those affected by addictions may begin a new life.
Caring Services, Inc. offers a holistic continuum of care to individuals who are ready to make a commitment to their recovery from mood altering substances. The program provides the much needed bridge between the devastation of addiction and a successful return to family and society as a clean, sober, and productive community citizen.
The goal of Caring Services is to provide the best possible opportunity for each individual to achieve lasting abstinence from all mood-altering substances and to assist individuals in rebuilding their lives. This is accomplished through multi-dimensional approaches to rehabilitation which includes the following....
Transitional Housing
Group housing gives every member the opportunity to learn to live in a family setting with responsibilities, governance, and structure. This allows individuals to begin learning the dynamics of living in a family setting and taking individual responsibility for choices to prepare them for re-entry into a self-sufficient life in the community without the use of mood-altering substances.
Outpatient Treatment
Chemical dependency, which affects 1 in 10 individuals, is more than a drug or alcohol problem that is out of control. It is a medical condition, which can be treated successfully. Our reputatiion for quality care is based on our in-depth knowledge and experience in successfully treating chemical dependency. Counseling sessions on an individual basis, small group sharing, 12-step meetings, selected readings and films, case management, peer mentoring, and education give every person in our program help to form a solid foundation for recover.
Supported Living
ndependent housing is difficult for those in recovery when they have completed transitional housing programs due in part to poor credit histories and sometimes criminal records. Usually financial resources and transportation opportunities are limited.
The Supported Living Program allows individuals to live in one of our 2 bedroom apartments with a higher level of independence while they work and pay rent and build their credit histories. Clients in this program still have some structures and ongoing services but they have much greater freedom to make their own choices, accept responsibility, and learn from mistakes in a safer environment. This is also a time when families can be reunited and learn to live together as family again provided that there is sufficient room for the family members.
Relapse Prevention
Because chemical dependency has the potential for relapse, we offer programs to help individuals explore this issue and develop strategies for preventing relapse.
