A Beautiful Day/Nani La 'Ao offers various types of simple but comfortable accommodations. Working space, other than the accommodations, is usually limited, shared and must be kept intact and presentable for others. Visual artists use the studio spaces as available. Writers and artists generally work in their rooms, out-of-doors, or in the common areas.
Every effort is made to protect the artist's privacy during working hours.

Expect a transformative experience by simply being here. This is your chance for a break from ‘normal life’ in an extraordinary place, and is an efficient way to spend an extended period of time living in Hawaii. We welcome people from all over the world who choose to share their personal skills, talents and stories.
We embrace a natural lifestyle and live closely with the jungle environment, which means you will encounter harmless creatures such as spiders, geckos and mosquitoes, so we recommend that you bring a repellent spray. Our accommodations are simple and comfortable, but fairly rustic, with no televisions or phones.
You are required to have health insurance coverage through your entire stay. You are responsible for your own health care treatment and cost.
