OurGoal is to find a song in the stories of everyday people. Here's how we plan to do it:____________________________Step 1: Pick a town where everyday people liveWe want where we go to be completely random. So logically we threw a dart at a map and (drumroll) we hit Liberty, Ky. Here we come Liberty!Step 2: Discover the townThe plan is to spend a couple of days in Liberty and get a feel for it's people and places.Step 3: Gather storiesThe key component of this process is the stories. We'll be interviewing residents of Liberty, KY and asking them to tell us a story. We're going to collect as many stories as we can. Click on "Story to Song Examples" below to see some examples of stories we've received in the past.Step 4: Pick the storyWe're going to select one story from all the stories gathered in Liberty, KY.Step 5: Write the songOn Thursday night March 4th, Luke, along with his cowriter Reed Pittman, will watch the story for the first time. Then, at the Royal Inn in LIberty, KY, they will write a song based on that story.Step 6: Perform the songOn Friday night March 5th, Luke, Chad and Brandon will perform a live concert at The Hitching Post in Liberty, KY for the locals- All are welcome to attend! During the show, they will perform the song that they wrote while in town.Step 7: Record the songOnce we leave Liberty, KY, we'll be heading back to Nashville where the song will be recorded and performed by artist, Michael Logen.
