Brooke Alyson as "Stevie Nicks"
Brooke says, "Like Stevie, I try to take you away to a little fantasy world for a while, and simply keep the dream alive that she begun.. if I can do that, I've done my job." In addition to paying tribute to Stevie, Brooke isn't just a one-trick pony, She also writes and sings various other genres and styles. Brooke has also started an all-female rock cover band in Houston with the best female musicians in the city, if not the state! The band is called Sister Honey. Their website is http://www.sisterhoney.net . Brooke has also teamed up with
Adam Walton for an acoustic duo to showcase their original
work as well as choice covers. You can visit that project's

Adam Walton
Guitars/Vocals
Just another cat from Texas ... Adam Walton was born in Dallas, Texas in 1981. As a child Adam had always had a great appreciation for music of all kinds. But it wasn't until he moved deep into the piney woods of east Texas that he found his calling. It was out there that he was introduced to the music of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Doyle Bramhall II among others. Their fiery, soulful playing led him to pick up guitar at the age of 15 and he hasn't put it down since. Adam has worked with many projects and bands over the years, and has shared the stage with Mean Gene Kelton and the Diehards, Gary Hoey, and Spencer Bowren, to name a few. He is an accomplished songwriter, singer, and bassist in addition to his main love of guitar. Adam has also begun a blues/rock
project with Nightbird drummer, Jason Phillips, called Chess
Kings. You can listen to various songs Adam creates at various
times on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/doctorvelvet

Melanie is 22 years old and grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She moved to Houston in May of 2009, having recently graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Melanie has always felt that her greatest passion is music, and although she has been playing the piano for thirteen years, she just recently took to the stage with Nightbird to play music professionally. Melanie adds the much needed vocals and keys of Christine McVie while adding Stevie's solo back-up singer qualities as well.
