FUZZY'S FOUNDING
Founder Brittany Clifford was inspired by friend Michael who was born with a serious heart condition making it necessary for him to have multiple heart surgerys. During visits with Michael in the hospital, she noticed he and all the kids had nothing on their feet in the chilly hospital.
Her family decided to establish a foundation that would donate slippers to ill children, to help ease their hospital stay. The first slippers were delivered Valentine's Day 2002. Since then, over 10,000 slippers have beeen donated to hospitalized children across the country.
Fuzzy Feet opperates and is managed by teens under teen board president Rachael Clifford.
