If it's your job to hire the entertainment you know that everyone will look at you when the event is done. If it was a great show, you get all the credit (maybe even a raise).
Of course my job is to entertain with Magic, Game Show or DJ Music, but my main responsibility is to make sure your job is easy. Keeping in contact, showing up early, being prepared and making sure EVERYONE has a great time.
