As most of you know, we’re a company run by a current student and recent graduate of George Mason University. Over the past 4 years, we’ve worked with over 350 students and 100 companies throughout Northern Virginia/Maryland/DC region. So, the only way we thought it’d be possible to get the attention of companies is to do something crazy like offer students for the day. We came up with the concept after considering many options, but after coming to the realization that companies work with us over and over once we’ve provided the first student. After careful consideration, “A Day Off ROCS” was born. One Last Thing.... Many companies could stand to give a grateful non-managerial person the day off for the heck of it. Whether it's because he or she stayed late and helped get the project copied, collated, and bound, or someone hit their sales goal for the day, everyone deserves a day off. Everyone wants a random day to go shopping, play a round of golf, or drink a pint at the local pub, so make it happen! Plus, you get the opportunity to see what kind of students we provide and possibly consider us for something more long-term (whether temporary, part-time, full-time, or helping hire recent grads). Seriously, what other company does work for you to get you to use their business and help college students simultaneously?
