UQ stepped onto the music scene with an eye and ear for sophistication combined with bold, vivacious energy blurring the lines between traditional classical instrumentation and modern pop and mainstream music’. The group is highly sought after for its unique versatility in performing a very wide range of music from hard rock to alternative rock, pop, club music, cutting edge electronic music, jazz and original film music. UQ brings to the stage an eclectic repertoire performing original works and UQ’s own arrangements of chart toppers. Urban Quartet’s music is written or arranged by Carrie Caruso (violin).
