Happy Holiday's
Onslow Community Outreach's "Christmas Cheer Program" is now accepting applications for Christmas 2011! This program helps families in need of assistance by providing them with holiday donations from the community. Gifts are offered for children ages 0 to 12 and if resources are available to teenagers up to age 17, and also provide a box of food for the entire household. Please visit Onslow Community Outreach's website for information.

Located at 421 Court Street Jacksonville's Historical Railway Depot, BOLD's Headquarters, is open from 9:00 am-1:00 pm each day. One of our staff will welcome you with information according to your interests. We have brochures for historical sites, local outdoor organizations, activities, restaurants, bed and breakfasts as well as retail shops and office space for rent. If you are looking to relocate your family or business we can point you toward individuals who can help you find the right property to meet your needs.

Our Mission is to promote the preservation of the commercial and residential structures in the downtown Jacksonville and to aid in the enhancement of the physical and cultural elements of the area; to educate the community about the historic role of downtown Jacksonville and of the physical and cultural attributes that exist there; to lessen the burden of local government through beautification, revitalization and enhancement of the physical appearance and economic vitality of the downtown area; and in promoting cooperation between City government, County government, the business community, and the citizens of Jacksonville and Onslow County, North Carolina.
