ABOUT
Born in Western Australia in 1985, Bob had a strong interest in animation, illustration and music from very young age. He spent most of his time as a child drawing his favourite characters from cartoons and comic books, which eventually led to a number of weird and wonderful creations of his own.Growing up Bob also slowly became increasingly addicted to the magic of computers. Over the years he familiarised himself with whatever software he could get his hands on that might make his artworks even more "AWESOMER!" Eventually Bob grew into a very tall and densely bearded man who found himself working as a graphic designer for print and advertising. After a few years, he had built a solid knowledge of design and survived some blisteringly intense deadlines. However, he felt he wanted to push himself further. It was then that he decided it was time to return to study and follow his life-long dream of becoming an animator.Two long, sleepless years passed and at the end of 2010 Bob finally completed his Bachelor of Interactive Entertainment (majoring in animation) at Qantm College in Melbourne.Since graduating he has worked on an independent iPhone game, some small freelance jobs, and has had his student film 'Against the Grain' screened at the 2011 Melbourne International Animation Festival.
