Indigo The Salon is a team oriented salon that places a high premium on education and customer service. The talented individuals that make up "Team Indigo" come from diverse backgrounds and training methods but there is one thread that unites each individual piece of fabric -- skill.

Having earned a reputation for setting the standard for service and client care in Greensboro, Indigo expanded it's salon space from 2,000 square feet to an open, airy 3,500 sq. ft loft space. Dynamic cutting and exquisite color and texture services are provided in a spacious atmosphere of textures and relaxing colors.

Model candidates must be between the ages of 13-20. Minors under 18 years of age must have parental consent via a signed model release form. All models must be willing to make significant change to their current color, length and/or style and be willing to have their picture appear on the Indigo The Salon website.

Q : What form of payment do you accept?
A: American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Cash and Personal Checks are all acceptable forms of payment.
Gratuities are not accepted on credit cards.
Q : What is your arrival and cancellation policy?
A: Indigo The Salon has a 24 hour cancellation policy . If you are unable to arrive on time for your appointment, please call ahead to let your service provider make use of the time. Clients who arrive after their appointment time are subject to rescheduling at the discretion of the service provider.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete new client paperwork and insure adequate time for changing clothes.
Q : Does Indigo have Gift Cards and what is the policy for using them?
A: Yes, we do!
We have what is referred to as a "universal gift card system." Any gift card purchased at any of our locations (BlueMan, Indigo The Salon, Indigenous Spa at Indigo or Indie Salon Society) can be used at any of our facilities as long as it is still valid.
Gift Certificates can be redeemed within ONE YEAR of the issued date...not that you'd want to wait! Gift Certificates are non refundable and not redeemable for cash.
Q : Where is Indigo The Salon located?
A: Indigo recently moved from it's home of 9 years to a beautiful two story 5,500 salon and spa space. Indigo is located in the upscale Lake Jeanette area in Northwest Greensboro and calls The Village at North Elm home.
Take Battleground Avenue North, turn right onto Pisgah Church Road. Cross Lawndale Drive, Willoughby Blvd. and the next light is North Elm Street, go through that traffic light and turn right into the second driveway. Look for the blue and white stripe awnings! We're next door to Hallmark.
Indigo The Salon is always seeking models for in-salon training and for fashion shows/community fund raisers. If you would like to be considered, please stop in the salon and complete a model application or complete the on-line application below. Any person who is considered a minor (under 18) must have the permission of a parent/guardian.
As a selected model all services rendered are complimentary and at the sole discretion of the stylist upon an in-salon consult with the stylist.

The artistic and creative ”vision“ for the salon comes from the Artistic Director and is implemented by the Team Leaders with Indigo. The Artistic Director has years of experience in cutting and color and holds advanced credentials in technical education, has worked for major manufacturers and charts the artistic and technical course for Indigo The Salon.
Hillary Wallace -- Trained in Atlanta, Hillary wears many hats at all three salons in the Indigo family. As an owner and Master Designer, she charts the technical direction of all the salons as the Artistic Director. A profound colorist with master stylist education with Logics/Matrix, Hillary is a former national Artistic Team member with American Crew Men's Grooming Products.
If you are looking for a master of the craft then an appointment with one of our Master Designers is the perfect choice for you. Our Master Designers are the cornerstone of our training and design team. They have years of experience with advanced techniques. Some have worked for major manufacturers, educating and mentoring other salon professionals. They head up the Indigo Stylist in Training program in the salon and coach and mentor every other level in the Indigo Hair Design Team.
Emiley Joyce -- A very disciplined stylist, Emiley's strength is in taking the super artistic and making it a wearable vibe. She serves as the lead mentor for Indigo's Stylist InTraining Program. Precise color is the perfect accent to all Emiley's work.
Lauren Hudson -- Lauren began her advanced studies as an assistant within Indigo's Stylist In Training Program and has blossomed into a talented and creative stylist with an eye for color and strong finish work. She is also known for her meticulous menswork, balancing structure and style.
Rhianna Murphy -- A native of Greensboro, Rhianna has the tools to give clients classic looks or super trend. She specializes on color, making the most of dimensional color, face framing and color placement to enhance your individual cut and style.
Nikki Pendleton -- Nikki "cut her salon teeth" at a high volume salon earning a reputation as a dynamic cutter. Fluent in edgy textured cutting, she has intense attention to detail. Nikki also specializes in texture services such as straighteners and relaxers.

If you are looking for experience and high quality, you’ll love an appointment with one of our Hair Designers. Our Hair Designer’s make up the body of our design team. They have 3 or more years of experience and will definitely exceed your expectations. They help coach and mentor Stylist and Master Stylist levels and are highly skilled in all aspects of design.
Nick Bolen -- Creative and intense, Bolen specializes in precision cutting and artistic vision. His impeccable attention to detail and skilled color work make him a great fit at Indigo. He enjoys working with clients to come up with styles individualized to their needs.
Rachel Herrera -- A new arrival to Indigo but not the industry, Hererra's creativity and interest in new and emerging styles will inspire you. Her strengths include beautiful long layered cuts, short and trendy razor cuts, dimensional color, and up-dos.

If you are looking for high quality at a competitive price then an appointment with a Master Stylist level is just what you need. Our Master Stylist’s are certified to perform all services related to hair in the salon. They have proven that they need little coaching during a service and they can perform at the salon time standards. They attend all in-house training programs and, as with all our designer levels, they are required to attend at least 2 outside education events a year.
Diana Craig -- Diana, a graduate of Indigo's Stylist In Training Program, has earned her "Indigo Bones" with hard work and dedication to adapting exciting trends to wearable styles. She has a natural gift and eye for hair and is excited to share it!

All we ask is that you use your NewClient Perks within 21 days of your first visit!
Reservations:
Salon and spa services are available by appointment on a daily basis. We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability. A credit card or gift card is required when making reservations. (Your card will not be charged unless there is a "no show" for your scheduled appointment)
Guest Cancellation:
We request the courtesy of a 24-hour cancellation notice for all Indigo/Indie/Indigenous The Spa services. Cancellations of less than 24-hours or no-shows will be charged at 100%. For no show or failed to cancel within 24 hours, appointments made with purchased Gift Cards, the Gift Card becomes invalid.
Arrival Time:
So as not to sacrifice any minutes of the salon/spa experience, we suggest that clients arrive early. New clients, please arrive 15 minutes earlier for your appointment for a consultation and to supply basic information. Unfortunately, clients arriving after their scheduled appointment time will not receive an extension of services and will be responsible for full service fees. All treatments must end at the scheduled time, as to prevent the delay of the next clients services.
Cell Phones & Pagers:
To keep the serenity of the Indigo/ Indigenous Spa experience, we ask that you turn off your cellular phone upon arrival. Every effort is made to ensure that the spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation. Please respect our other guests desire for privacy and quiet.
Gift Cards:
Gift Cards may be redeemed for services or retail products. Due to multiple locations, gift cards must be presented at time of appointment & will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash value or extended past their expiration date.
Spa Treatment Attire:
If desired, undergarments or a swimsuit may be worn during treatments, however, our therapists are trained to discreetly drape and provide you with complete privacy at all times. Please let us know if we may make you more comfortable.
Payment:
We accept cash, local checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, and gift cards. Gratuities may not be added to credit card transactions.
Notes:
Valuables should not be brought into the facility, as we are not responsible for articles lost or stolen.
All sales and services are final, there are no refunds on services, including gift certificates.
We accept any unopened and unused retail product return for complete refund within thirty days of purchase with receipt. Opened and/or used products may be returned with receipt and with management approval for salon/ spa credit only. Credits may be applied to the purchase of future product or service.
I f you are dissatisfied with a service, please notify your service provider and then the Indigo management team immediately.
