Welcome to the studio just established in the summer 2009! Offering piano lessons for all ages/levels and accompanying services for vocalists and instrumentalists.
Lessons:
Offering 30-minute, 45-minute, and 55-minute private lessons. Children and adults, beginning or intermediate, serious or pleasure - all welcome!
Accompanying:
Minimum of 30-minute rate will be charged for each event, 15-minute increments thereafter. Travel time for out-of-town services may be additional.

Mio Aoike recently came to La Grande to serve as a staff accompanist at the Eastern Oregon University. Originally from Tokyo, Japan, she has spent her childhood years abroad, studying with teachers in Jordan, Venezuela, and United States.
Aoike holds a doctorate in piano performance from the University of Oregon, a masters from the University of Southern California, and a B.A. from Reed College. Her teachers include Nellie Tholen, Stewart Gordon, Daniel Pollack, Alan Smith, and Victor Steinhardt. She has been teaching privately for over 15 years and has been active as an accompanist and a chamber musician.
She is a member of the OMTA and will be teaching class piano at EOU this fall.
