About Me 
Photojournalism is my passion. I love to capture authentic moments and real life. This interest brought me to wedding photography, which is photojournalism at its best and most beautiful! My work is inspired by a myriad of many things; Fashion, art, music, nature, travel, love stories, and other amazing photographers. I subscribe to more magazines than I can read per month and frequent a long list of art and fashion blogs. I love to travel, and am blessed to have a job that takes me all over the world.
I attended the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California and currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. My work has been published in French GQ, Chicago's A&E newspaper, The Reader, AOL website, Fluctuat website, France-Amerique magazine, Style Me Pretty, Elizabeth Anne Designs and PhotoShelter. I am also a member of the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International.

She and her assistant Sasha were so fun to be around. They make you feel like your hanging out with friends and not like your surrounded by paparazzi. Extremely Talented and Professional Photographer!
From the first meeting we had with Betsi, we knew that she was very professional, and that we could rely on her. However, she still managed to surprise us with how prepared she was for our event. We were married this New Year's Eve at the prospect park boat house. If you remember, there was a huge snow storm, which could have made things very difficult. However, Betsi planned ahead, visiting the park the day before, and found great spots for us to take photos. Throughout the entire event, she always had a smile on her face, and her and the other photographer that she was working with that day (Sasha) took incredible photos. They made us both really comfortable, and never pushed us to do things that we didn't want to do. We had a small and intimate wedding (60 people), and by the end of the night, we really felt like she was a friend of ours. We would recommend her and Sasha to anyone, an overall great experience. Amazing!
Betsi couldn't have done a better job on the pictures and making me feel so compfortable. Our Special day was end of July on Bow Bridge in Central Park. She was there from start to finsih, and captured every second. The results of her perfection can be seen in the photos. She was incredibly professional and the photos were magnificent. I am so proud to show my beautiful wedding pictures to everyone and so so happy I picked Betsi Ewin g Studio to do them. Five stars.

Couldn't Be Happier!
From the start, I knew Betsi was exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. She is relaxed and creative, replacing the posed studio-style shots with natural candids. After an engagement photo session with her in Central Park, I confidently booked her for my farm wedding in Queens. Not one second of my wedding day was spent worrying about photography. Betsi clearly had it all under control, getting all the shots she knew I wanted without being in our guests' faces all night. Wonderful!
It has been so much fun to re-live the wedding day by looking through the photos that Betsi captured. Not one moment was missed; and all of it was recorded in beautiful colors and tones. I am so happy with how the day played out and how comfortable Betsi and Sasha made us feel. She was very patient with our photo requests, including taking one last group photo of 40+family members.
