Design Inspiration | April 4th 2013

For design geeks, typography is a form of art. But for non-designers also, typography plays a huge role in how we interact with graphics. Good typography work can do magic for designs, and web design is no exception. You may not always notice it right away, but the fonts on a website and the way in which they are arranged have a great impact on the user experience.

When you build a website, you want to go for a typography style that compliments your overall design. Are you working on something classy? Better use a thin and elegant font. Want to design a minimalist website? Don’t use more than two different types of fonts! Feel like being playful? Try integrating texts with your images.

These 13 websites below are great examples of how to do typography for the web. They represent different approaches to typography use. Which one do you like best?
