Showcase: Beautiful Low Saturation Photography

September 6th 2012 | Now Trending

A great tip for photographers who want to experiment with colors is to shoot with low saturation or reduce saturation level in the editing phase. This creates a unique dream-like effect that really draws viewers into the works. It’s especially interesting to see how images that have a very distinct feel can change into something different when saturation is reduced. If photos have the ability to tell a story, low saturation introduces a whole new perspective to that story.

There are different ways to create low saturated photos. This showcase shows how varied this process can be, and how results change accordingly. Each photo has its own  unique story to tell.
