HTML5 has been the hottest buzzword in the internet industry for the last couple of years and for a good reason.
You might not know what HTML5 exactly stands for, but if you enjoy Google’s doodles or Pandora’s internet radio, you probably already experienced its magic.
But where did HTML5 come from? And how did it evolve from a basically good idea into the web standard it is today?
Get those answers and more in this groovy infographic.
On Mac, in FF, Opera, and Chrome at least, this image file is broken and won’t render.

interesting infographic it is amazing what one guy can say that will effect the rest of the world and here we are in a world without flash (almost)
Great infographic, question: if HTML5 is the way forward why is Wix still offering flash. At the speed new technologies, and now HTML5 which as quoted ‘will never be finished” i.e. always evolving, Flash based sites could become obsolete… especially as per the Adobe’s initial step to Stop making flash for mobile devices.
I like Steve Jobs Cursing Flash he looks like one in Yo!Mama
Information about Adobe ending Flash development is misleading. Flash development did not end; it simply shifted focus to using Flash for native applications on mobile – particularly with respect (though not exclusively) to gaming – rather than having it in the mobile browsers. And efforts were not redirected to HTML5, though there is work being done separately on that as well.

html5 will be amazing!
completely agree with “Trevor” Flash is not going to be ended.
