20 Inspiring Photographs of Beaches

April 28th 2011 | Photography

Even a hardened cynic won’t deny that there are very few sights on the face of the earth that are as beautiful as a beach. Perhaps the most stunning thing about beaches is their ability to create such a variety of atmospheres. Take a look at the photos below and you’ll see one beach that is soothing, another beach that is stimulating, yet another that almost frightens, and also one that sends you automatically searching for your swim suit and flippers.

The reason for this is that there are so many variables that play a part in beach photography – the location itself, the weather and natural lighting, the time of day, the specific technique and, of course, the person behind the camera. The possibilities are endless! That’s why we hope to inspire all of you professional and amateur photographers to grab your equipment and set out to the beach. No matter how your photo will turn out, it’s bound to be one of a kind!
