Wix Was Here Photo Contest

After nearly five spectacular weeks, thousands of submissions and gazillions of votes, the ‘Wix Was Here’ photography  contest has come to an end!

We’ve had a great time, and judging by the photos we received, everyone who took part had a lot of fun as well. We want to send a big, fat thank you to everyone who participated in the contest and everyone who voted and commented passionately. You guys rock!

On this special occasion, we’re happy to announce the winners of the contest. Here we go!

Most Voted Photo, Winner of the Trip to NYC – Bernardo Ahumada, “City of Queretaro, Mexico”
Winner of the Wix Was Here photo challenge
Bernardo is the Numero Uno winner of our contest. He gets to fly to New York, spend 4 days in the big apple and receive fun and spoiling treats from the Wix.com team. BTW, you might want to start befriending Bernardo, since he’s also allowed to bring along a special someone. Bernardo, say hi to Lady Liberty for us!

Best Photo, Winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab – Charisse Canopin, “City’s Beach”
Winner of the Wix Was Here photo challenge
Charisse’s photo really impressed our team of judges –it has scenery, it has character, it has “fun” written all over it. Hopefully, Charisse’s new Samsung Galaxy tab will inspire her for more creative works in the future.

Exceptional Photos, Winner of a $100 Amazon Gift Card
We had thousands of amazing photos and choosing just one as ‘the best’ proved a tough one for our judges, so we decided to add more winners…These four participants submitted extra cool photos and we thought they deserve a special reward:

Tali Schiffer
Winner of the Wix Was Her photo challenge
Danny Allen
Winner of the Wix Was Here photo challenge
Christian Tello
Winner of the Wix Was Here photo challenge
Leïla Zouiten

Thanks again for being a part of ‘Wix Was Here’ photo challenge. It was a blast.
See you on our next awesome contest!
