“What I love is the banal, mundane, odd, awkward, fragile and ephemeral every day. Nothing interests me more than watching a fleeting moment of an ordinary object transcend from its natural state to the state of beauty. It is hard to pin down the ‘when’ and the ‘why’ it makes it evident and precisely because of this magic I continue to document it.
This is one of my first photographs I took back in 2003 whist being a Foundation student at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Seeing it now makes me think how some things are just preconditioned. “
