I used to do a lot street art, under half a dozen different aliases. If you own a copy of London Street Art Anthology, I'm in it about 8 times.
I think I've moved on from it now, although I would like to transform some street childrens lives as art. I think the street is a good place for an artist to start though. It gets you making work, displaying your work, engaging in street curation, it's exciting, challenging, teaches you non attachment, trust, forgiveness, and helps you develop a strong sence of artistic identity. And a sence of humour.
