Pro Bull Ropes was established in 2006. I am a professional custom bullrope braider from New Mexico. I am Native American and an Army veteran.
Pro Bull Ropes are affordable, custom hand braided with top quality. I don't have other braiders do my work I personally braid each and every rope I sell.

The "Plait" of a rope 5, 7, or 9 has nothing to do with the width of the rope but more determines the feel of the rope.
5-Plait The fewest number of plaits and least tightly braided, producing a soft, coarse feel. Most often used in the tail
7-Plait Similar to a 9 plait but not as tight and firm.
9-Plait This is the tightest, firmest braid available. It is very smooth, uniform and hard. Most often used in the handle because it holds it's shape the longest but is also popular in the tail.
COMBINATION PLAITS
7/7 Plait: Great beginner's rope as it gives a medium feel handhold and tail.
7/5 Plait: Combines a flat 7 handhold with a soft 5 plait tail.
9/9 Plait: Will give you the tightest(firmest) feeling handhold and tail. Sometimes preferred by those riders with smaller hands.
9/5 Plait: Will give you the tightest (firmest) feeling handhold and a soft coarse feel tail.
