Ace Classics is located in Torquay at the start of the famous Great Ocean Road, one of the great motorcycling roads in the world.
I'm Alan Howlett, proprietor of Ace Classics and I have spent a large portion of my life in the restoration of beautiful Motorcycles and cars although these days I limit myself to Classic British Motorcycles. I have a few bikes of my own and mostly ride my faithful 1971 Norton Commando Roadster.
I believe the ownership of a Classic Motorcycle is something special and not for everyone. A British Classic bike will always stir the soul and provide that escape from the everyday world that we live in. The shared understanding of those who ride a Classic must be experienced to be understood. I understand that not all of us have the time or experience needed to build or maintain their own Classic and I would love to work with you to help realise the dream.
We specialise in show quality restoration of Classic British Motorcycles. We are able to restore your own motorcycle or help you to acquire the basis for your Classic dream.
We are happy to work with you, personalising your Classic. Your motorcycle is an extension of your personality.
If your Classic is a little on the tired side we can work with you to restore its former glory ( or just get it back on the road again!)
