My Best Beginner DSLR - The Nikon D90

This jewel of a camera is amazing, it's great for amateur shooters and passionate photographers alike. The list of features is comprehensive and the fact that the sensor is of a similar quality as the pro model D300 is astonishing. The highly rated sensor produces an amazing dynamic range and color depth with very rich colors (see my photos in the head banner slideshow), and of course how could I forget the HD video feature? You can find astonishing video clips made by Nikon D90 video enthusiasts further below. I think the best beginner DSLR choice is the D90 over the D5000, as it has the autofocus motor in the body. The D90 sits firmly in my hand, and is perfectly balanced with the 18-105 VR lens. It's always ready and it shoots pretty fast. Quite manageable to carry around, and there are a host of internal customizations, so you can set it up just the way you like it. Across-the-board, this is a fantastic camera and probably the best beginner DSLR you can find. If you just want a simple camera for taking pictures when on holiday then you would probably want to save the money and buy the D5000. However, if you want more from your DSLR and want to develop your photography skills, you want to photograph fast-changing subjects like birds or do sports photography, try new things or start out in studio or wedding photography etc., then this is a fantastic camera and gives you amazing value for your money.All photos in my slideshow have been taken either with the 18-105mm kit lens or the Nikon prime lens 35mm 1:1.8mm G. Either of them together with the D90 a double pack I am extremely happy with. All macro shots were taken with the "Raynox DCR-250" Super Macro Conversion lens snap on (only 46 Euros/50 USD/38 £). If you want to purchase the D90 or the Nikkor 35mm G, on the right are links to Amazon. Amazon in my eyes, is the best and most reliable Online Store. It offers great prices and shipping rates, and they are fast. Life's Passion Taking photos has been a passion for me that I pursued since my early youth rather feverishly. The moment you take a photo it's motif is being preserved indefinitely, for me an awesome and thrilling concept. I find myself indulging in nature photography a lot more than anything else. People are my second favourite motifs. I like capturing whats moving them and the emotions they feel at that moment.
