Sacred Nexus is a cooperative venture offering individual, corporate, and public events with a broad focus on personal growth, spiritual transformation, integrative wellness, and creativity.
Educational workshops & classes, individual sessions in counseling & wellness, spiritual guidance, and opportunities for transformational growth are offered throughout the year in a retreat setting.
The mission and policies of the organization are committed to diversity and inclusivity of the many cultural expressions of faith and spirit, lifelong learning, personal and social transformation, and integration of the vast creative expressions of the soul.
As teacher, musician, writer, & herbalist, Patti Clawson Berry integrates her love of learning and the myriad expressions of the Divine. Her holistic approach to life presents opportunities to teach classes in herbs, spirituality, and holistic health, as well as lead retreats and workshops focused on personal and social transformation. With over 25 years of studying the spirituality and philosophy of Indigenous cultures, Patti teaches the Sacred Circle as a tool for meditation, spiritual growth, and holistic living.
Moving to Santa Fe, NM in 2005, Patti has continued to perform, compose music, teach workshops, and host Sacred Nexus events, while earning a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Lesley University at Cambridge. Her research is focused on the influence of one's faith and culture in the healing process, and the examination and proposal of the Medicine Wheel as Model for Integrative Holistic Health. Tracy Townsend is co-founder of Sacred Nexus and a Licensed Professional Counselor using a holistic approach to healing, while teaching the interconnection of the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual dimensions of life. She helps her clients identify the areas of one's life that are out of balance and then, with knowing compassion, guides them through life's changes and inspires personal empowerment. An astute group leader with an infectious smile, Tracy offers her life-experience and insights to reach people of all paths.
During the past 20 years, she has led a variety of personal growth groups, workshops, and retreats. Tracys professional association with Resources For Living and Value Options New Mexico has given her opportunities to travel throughout the U.S. and touch thousands of lives. With 20 years of experience in the world of business and public-sector healthcare, she understands the challenges and stressors that most people face daily. Offering emotional support in times of crisis, providing guidance through a dark passage of life, or teaching the abundance of Unconditional Love, Tracy's message is always one of faith, hope, and healing--a message she knows inside-out. Tracy & Patti began hosting Sacred Nexus events in 2002 in the Texas Hill Country and expanded the circle with their move to Santa Fe, NM. Together they create a safe place for people of all faiths and cultures to explore the realms of spirituality, healing, and personal integration.
Lori Gainer is a community minister and spiritual director, currently completing the Master's of Divinity program at Austin Seminary. Lori is a member of MCCAustin, affiliated with the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, and she will seek formal ordination to the ministry following completion of the MDiv. program. As a poet, musician, vocalist, and compassionate minister, Lori values exploration of the Sacred through diverse worship expression and experience. With 25+ years of professional experience in business administration, Lori brings to Sacred Nexus an experiential wisdom of corporate organization, as well as the compassionate heart of a ministering healer. Lori is a master wood-carver and is the designer-creator of Stick To The Path, an exquisite offering of personalized walking sticks and hiking staffs.
