Deep in the woods stands an old shack; half lost and long forgotten till some old guy came poking around. Like many others, he'd not given the place a thought for near on half a century. But now here he was, drawn to where his journey started some fifty years back.
He stooped to pick up the rusted nameplate. Turning it in his hands he remembered how late into the night and through the seasons,
folk would gather here just to fan the flame of life into any number of crazy ideas that people would pitch up with.
Truth is that plenty of dreams would glow and smoke a little only to die before they caught fire. But many more would sputter and spark into a life of their own before heading out into the night to set the world alight. The only proof they were ever there - one more scorch-mark seared onto the charred doorframe as they left. They named
it 'The Old Tinderbox' after the raw creative energy that swept like wildfire under its hot tin roof. A little hut where ideas turned to dreams and were then given the tools needed to make them fly: perception. Grit. Belief.
The Old Tinderbox was full of stuff like that back then. Highly flammable. Kept super dry and ready to set ablaze whatever came near. It's amazing the place never burned down - it came close often enough.
