About School Council: All government schools in Victoria have a school council. The school council is the group of people who govern the school. It is given the power to set the key directions for the school, and is a legal entity in its own right. A school council directly influences the quality of education that a school provides to its students.

The Bell Arts Group (BAG) is a sub-committee of the Education committee. It is composed of community members and teachers who are passionate about Bell Primary School having a vibrant and exciting school Arts Program and community Art Projects.
When parents and schools work together towards common goals the end product will better reflect this community's particular vision for our school.
BAG welcomes all interested persons to participate in this group. The meetings will generally be held in the evenings.
Announcement - July, 2011
The Bell Arts Group needs your help!
This year we would like to make a photo book of student work using the Farmers Market as our theme.
In years to come it will be a great thing to look back and see what the Bell Farmers Market looked like in its first year. Have a look at the Mural Wall photo book in the foyer and see the changes to the school.
Bring your camera and be ceative with your photos. Include your friends and family or choose details of the day you think are interesting.
The book will be published in the last week of term so you have about 6 markets to come and photograph. Reminders will appear in Bell News. Close of submissions will be announced in Term 4.
Send your best photo to a.atcheson_optusnet.com.au .
Monday playgroup starts at about 9.15am and goes to 10.45am. Activities include craft, free play with a variety of toys & puzzles, playing on the ever-popular gym mats and wedges, doing songs, dancing and reading stories.
Parents with pre-school children, whether you have a child at Bell PS or not, are most welcome to join us. For the adults, we offer real coffee and good conversation in a friendly atmosphere at the same time as the children have a good play.
We are in need of a couple of parents willing to take on the co-ordinators role.
For more details contact the school office on 9480 5622.
